Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Website Terms and all matters relating to your access to, or use of, the Website and the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You hereby agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
Warranty
Our furniture comes with a minimum 6 months warranty from the date of delivery, on manufacturing defects (not including wear and tear or misuse), unless otherwise specifically stated in writing. If you detect any manufacturing defects or damages which are not due to misuse or wear and tear, take a picture of the problem and send it to chat@thedecoist.sg with a brief explanation of the problem, including the order number that can be found in the confirmation email sent to you, and date of purchase. We will contact you and arrange for our service team to assess the situation. If the defect is not a manufacturing defect, customer will be advised of repair charges. If found to be a manufacturing defect, in most cases, repairs will be done. If it is deemed beyond repair by the service team, we will exchange the product for an identical one, or similar one of equal or greater price, depending on availability. The Decoist Pte Ltd reserves the right to make the final decision on whether to repair or exchange the product, as well as the replacement product, should an exchange be decided on.
Warranties are covered for local orders only and are not applicable to products exported out of Singapore mainland.
Our Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential or incidental damages, or any loss of income, profits or contracts, arising from any product defect and whether cost by breach of contract, negligence or other tort.
Refund
There will be no exchange or refund for all our goods sold as they are all custom-made goods.
Product Information
Please bear in mind that computer browsers may present colours slightly differently, and colours may also appear differently according to your screen. Images displayed on the internet are a representation only, and we recommend viewing the materials/samples by making an appointment with our designers prior to ordering if you are unsure.
